| Sergio Jiménez Campos ~ was born in San José, Costa Rica, on December 7th, 1979, 9 months after his parents Genaro Jiménez Saénz and Flora Campos Vargas knew he was meant to be conceived.
Since he was a little child, many questions about the spiritual world and the universe’s creative essence were arising in his mind; he also wondered how a world full of love would be; a world where we all treated one another as brothers and sisters; a world in which we treated others as we would like to be treated; a world in which love and compassion were our guide and path. He began reading literature about different religions and spirituality; reading about Jesus, Buda, Krishna, Osho, Kalil Gilbran, Dalai Lama, Mahatma Ghandi,Krishnamurti and other transformation leaders of our world, and he was always captivated by the vision of the different American indigenous groups such as the Mayas, the Incas and the Cabecares; that spiritual vision and the fact that everything is connected and everything is ONE, and he realized that the undercover secret in his life was always shown in the simple details, but with one common essence: LOVE and Gratitude. Since that moment, his chose the path of sharing Positive Energy.
In October 2001, Sergio became the lead vocalist and composer of the costarrican reggae music group : Maitam Roots. For some years, along with the 11 integrants of the group, he started a journey throughout the underground musical scene in Costa Rica and shared the stage with some national groups as Mekatelyu, Native Culture, Bamaselo, Frecuencia Libre, Trinity Roots, Baby Rasta Band, Dulce Tribu, Mentados, Tropa 56, Radicales, Tapón, Banton y Guetto, Toledo, Pray, Shel, Ghandi (Luis Montalbert y Federico Miranda).
In October 2005, he starts his iniciation in Reiki, level 1, and starts his studies as a holistic masseuse. In this way, he discovered the existence and begins practicing the “Five Tibetan Rites” which gives him another tool on his path of knowledge and integral healing. After working as a volunteer for Raleigh International in Costa Rica and Nicaragua, he traveled through Central America with Stephen Brown(Scotlan), Roisin Cairns (Ireland), Oliver Whittle (England) and his guitar for 7 months transforming positively the life of those they meet during their journey. While he was in Guatemala, he lived 3 really intense moths in which he played with the Hombres de Maiz ensamblado en el Viaje group at the Teatro Municipal de Xela; then he reached the Atlitán Lake and becomes a Reiki Master right before the Stan Huracain stroke this country. He was also introduced to Music Theraphy and realized about the healing properties of music while he was working with the 7 chakra tones according to the Tibetan and Vedic theories.
From his grandfathers, he inherited the love for music and photography. His grandfather, Hernán Campos Rodríguez, a well known singer, composer and poet. His other grandfather, Genaro Jiménez Morales was a prominent photographer. Segio spent a lot of time learning from them, either on a rocking chair learning to sing, or on a dark room processing family pictures.
He had the opportunity to study photography at the first Photography School in Costa Rica, CUNA, and studied music in different schools in the country, including Universidad de Costa Rica, La Orquesta Sinfónica de Cartago y Editus Arts Academy.
He became a Holistics Massausse in 2007 and uses different techniques he learned as a self-teaching practice such as lymphatic drainage, digit acupuncture, reflexology, sports massage, relaxing massage, aromatherapy and color therapy. He always searches to create his own holistic therapies combined with Music Therapy. Also with his metaphysics knowledge, he always focuses on the positive side since he believes that the power of our mind and words to modify our own reality is huge.
Since 2008, he has been working, along with his fried Roberto Fournier Acuña, in producing difirent music projects such as The Peace Warriorz, Chakra Vibrations, Tribu Cabécar, among others, always looking to transmit a positive, valuable and simple message that is able to be understood by people of any age, culture or beliefs. He believes that, when we realize about the importance of the actions an reactions we generate, we can understand how we can transform our own world with the decisions we make every day; that, when we share our light and solutions with our brothers and sisters, we are creating a positive chain reaction in Our World.
In November 20, 2009, he starts “The Global We” Project with his great friend Gordon J Millae from Scotland and creates www.theglobalwe.com to open a window for people from all over the world to get together and learn about our actions and impact to Mother Earth.
Recently, in 2011, he creates Yeria Interdependent Productions/ Yeria Producciones Interdependientes
Sergio always tries to transforms and look for the positive side in everything and to be a positive generator in order to teach how, with the power of our mind, words and actions, we can transform our daily reality and everyone’s around us.
